Its been one of the great art mysteries in modern history.  What really happened to Vincent van Gogh? Did he shoot himself, as the world at large believes, or, was he murdered by the crazy-as-a-fox Dr. Gachet, as some believe?  But why would Dr. Gachet kill the goose that laid the golden egg?  For one, love.  His daughter Marguerite was in love with Vincent, and, Vincent was in love with her.  This tale explores the complicated life of the Gachet's and Vincent van Gogh during the last three months of the artists life.  What you've always been led to believe, may just be what you were meant to believe, to protect the not-so-innocent.
